A group of suspected criminals were apprehended earlier today by police
officers in Rivers State. The arrest was made following a tip-off by a
patriotic citizen who reported to the police of a suspicious movement at
Ibadan waterfront, Port Harcourt. A team of police officers immediately
stormed the area -as they nabbed four suspects identified as Francis
Anderson 'm' 38 years, Gift David 'm' 18 years, Richard Toria 'm' 23
year and Barikwa Godspower 'f' 32 years.
Exhibits recovered from
them include five AK-47 rifles, six magazines and 120 rounds of 7.62mm
live ammunition. Two Toyota camry vehicles with registration numbers MUS
583 DF, and SMK 577 BZ were also recovered from them.
Meanwhile, investigation continues.
